Maerua Mall ended their Month of Love Campaign in style on the 25th of February with a fun filled day, full of surprises and giveaways, and Fresh FM was there to capture every moment.
Throughout the month of February, Maerua Mall had a competition running where shoppers could enter into a box 2 shopping receipts from any shop at the mall to qualify for a draw. 8 contestants were drawn to partake in the Valentines Treasure Hunt (Amazing Race style) on February 25.
These 8 lucky winners that were drawn received mystery clues and were all able to figure out their clues and found their envelopes hidden at different shops throughout the mall. Each of the 8 walked away with a prize; including jewelry and fuel vouchers.
Other shoppers won a variety of Maerua Mall merchandise with the Spin & Win game.
The day did not end there because right after the revelation of the prizes, a flash mob gathered from the crowd and gave shoppers at the mall an electric performance before a young man pulled his lady to the center, went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend.
The crowd screamed with excitement, and everyone had their phone in hand trying to capture the beautiful moment. Congratulations to the young couple.
