V5 Digital launches AI Academy for Namibian organisations

V5 Digital has launched an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Academy in Windhoek to help Namibian organisations understand how to use AI in their day-to-day operations.

The programme will assess organisations’ AI needs, train employees and support businesses in implementing AI tools to improve productivity and performance.

V5 Digital’s founder and Managing Director. Armin Wieland, says the Academy was created because businesses are no longer asking whether AI will affect them, but how they can actually use it.


”We’ve found that most organisations aren’t asking whether AI will impact their business, they already know it will. The real question is how to adopt it responsibly, strategically, and in a way that genuinely benefits their people and customers,” he said.

The Academy will first help organisations identify where AI can be useful, before training their employees and supporting them in putting the technology into practice.

It will also help organisations continuously improve how they use AI, rather than treating it as a once-off project.

Wieland says the initiative is ultimately about helping people work more effectively, rather than replacing them.

“Artificial Intelligence isn’t about replacing people. It’s about enabling people to focus on higher-value work, make better decisions, and unlock new opportunities,” he added.

The Academy will cater for government institutions, small and medium-sized businesses, executive teams, and larger organisations.

It will offer AI readiness assessments, workshops, executive briefings, implementation programmes and ongoing advisory support.
