As we are approaching this season of preparing for the new year, be intentional about being in the season of shedding of dead weight in your life.

Maybe that job didn’t work out because it wasn’t a fit for you anymore.

That relationship? Maybe you just outgrew it.

That opportunity that didn’t happen? Maybe it didn’t happen because there’s a better opportunity out there for you, and one that’s PERFECTLY suited for you.

See, often times we tend to have a hard time letting go of things…

The wrong relationships…

Friendships that aren’t helping us evolve…

Situations from the past…

But here’s the thing…

Most of the things that didn’t work out, in reality, really DID. Man, this epiphany came to me years ago when I had to adjust to being a single mother so take some time right now and let that sink in.

Once you realize that life is happening FOR YOU, NOT TO YOU… you’ll start to realize that it’s all a blessing.

The relationships that needed to end.

The friendships that sizzled out.

The opportunities that never seemed to work out in the moment.

It’s all a blessing.

Your past is a blessing. ⠀

Embrace it. Learn from it. Grow from it. Transform from it. ⠀

I stopped by to remind you on this beautiful Sunday that it’s ok to let go. It’s ok to move on. It’s ok to evolve. It’s ok to want different. It’s ok to want more. But in order to grab on to something new, you have to be willing to let go of something old.

With that said. what’s one thing you know it’s time to let go of? It’s almost the end of 2022 and the perfect time to do just that.

Take some time to reflect on the year you’ve had and write down some of the things you NEED to let go of.
