Yango Honors the Mothers and Wives of Its Partner Drivers in Namibia to mark Mother’s Day

Windhoek, Namibia, May 15th, 2025 – In celebration of Mother’s Day 2025, Yango Namibia,

performing partner drivers with a special token of appreciation. Recognising the invaluable
support and contributions these women make in the lives of their partners, Yango Namibia
presented them with thoughtful gifts.

Kabanda Chewe, Yango’s Regional Head for Namibia & Zambia celebrated the mothers as

and work hard,” said Mekondjo Mbwale, a partner driver whose mother received a hamper.
His mother, Liina Shiimi, was happy to be honored, saying, “This was such a lovely surprise! It
means so much to know that Yango appreciates not just our sons, but us too. We are so proud
of them.”
