Yango Namibian has assured customers that it offers safe and reliable transportation services.

The e-hailing which currently operates in Windhoek and the coastal areas emphasised that safety is a fundamental pillar of its operations, focusing on both passengers and drivers.

“The company’s multifaceted approach prioritises continuous innovation, strict driver verification, and advanced in-app safety features to ensure a secure and seamless experience for everyone, read a media statement issued by Yango Namibia.

To maintain high safety standards, the company uses a strict screening process for drivers, which includes conducting background checks, verifying the driver’s licence and vehicle documentation to ensure that only qualified individuals are on the road.

“We recognise our responsibility to both passengers and drivers. By conducting thorough background checks, verifying documents, and continuously investing in technology and training, we ensure our platform provides a secure environment and the best possible experience for everyone,” said Reuben Williams, a Yango’s representative in Namibia.
