Ready to make Namibia laugh? Savanna is thrilled to sponsor the “So You Think You’re a Comedian” Comedy Showdown—a nationwide search for the funniest comedians across the country! Registration is open, and auditions are coming soon! 

Key Dates: 

• Registration Opened: 01 August 2024 

• Auditions: 16 August – 26 October 2024 (in major towns across Namibia) 

• Comedy Festival: 02 November 2024 in Windhoek 

• Grand Finale (Comedy Awards): December 2024 

How to Enter: 

1. Register: Visit Savanna’s Registration Page to sign up. 
2. Auditions: Perform at your nearest audition venue. Top 3 per region move to the next round. 
3. Social Media Voting: Help us shortlist from 42 to 14 comedians. 
4. Comedy Festival: Showcase your talent in Windhoek. Top 4 comedians advance to the SANCA’s. 
5. SANCA’s: Public votes will decide the grand winner at the gala dinner. 

Prizes: 

• Grand Prize: N$50,000 and the chance to headline the first Namibian Comedy Club Series show of 2025!
