In an effort to allow my skin to breathe and decrease oiliness, clogged pores and pimples, I’ve embarked on a No Make-Up January. Having started on 7 January this is 25 days of no eyeshadow, mascara, eye-liner, foundation etc.
My skin does however need a little more help than what I can get from a regular bar of soap. I reached out to local skin care youtuber Cindy-Jade who BONUS… is also an avid Fresh FM listener and asked her to curate a skin care routine for me for No Make-Up January.
My main targets: Dark spots reduction and even toning.
Cindy-Jade’s Suggestions
Suggested Morning routine
Wash: CeraVe Foaming Cleanser
Treat: Vitamin C
Moisturize: Cetaphil hydrating lotion or CeraVe hydrating lotion
Sunscreen: Dermopal spf 30 or whatever sunscreen you are currently using.

Suggested Evening Routine:
Micellar water: Garnier (pink one)
Wash: Same as day
Treat: Retinol (once or twice a week) and Niacinamide (on days you don’t use Retinol)
Moisturize: Same as day. However, on days that you use the Retinol, I would suggest the LA Roche Posey Cicaplast Baume, SBR cream or CeraVe Moisturizing Cream on top of your moisturizer.
