The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) today urged all salaried individuals and pensioners to submit their tax returns by the end of the day, warning that no deadline extension will be granted.
According to NamRA’s Manager for Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Engagements, Tonateni Shidhudhu, taxpayers can use the online portal or visit local offices for assistance. Filings submitted after the deadline may incur penalties and interest charges.
NamRA has been running a tax‑season awareness campaign on social media, reminding citizens that June 30 is the final day to file income tax returns for the 2024/25 fiscal year. In previous years, late filers faced fines starting at N$500 plus N$1,500 per month in interest.
