Namibia Takes Part in UNESCO Education Commission

Namibia is participating in UNESCO’s Education Commission at the 43rd General, alongside ministers and policymakers from around the world. The Commission is reviewing global progress toward achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4, which focuses on inclusive and equitable quality education. Discussions have focused on preparing young people for a rapidly changing world, expanding access to early childhood education, and strengthening technical and vocational training. Namibia reaffirmed its commitment to skills development, innovation, and global partnerships to ensure equitable access to quality education. The General Conference runs until 13 November. Here is Sanet Steenkamp, the Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts, and Culture.
