

MTC has officially launched its Electronic SIM (eSIM) service, extending its availability beyond just customers traveling abroad. The launch took place on Friday and was officiated by Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus.
Minister Theofelus highlighted that adopting eSIM technology is a key step toward achieving secure, seamless, and universal connectivity across Namibia. MTC spokesperson Erasmus Nekundi added that the service allows users to activate mobile connectivity without a physical SIM card, offering greater convenience and flexibility for both individuals and businesses.
