Tsap Fresh Family,

We are back with your favorite personalities in the land. We continue celebrating and appreciating our stars and shining some extra light on them on Fresh Personality of the week. While doing so, we also get to know them on a more personal level and finding out some interesting facts about them. You gonna love this, we are being friends with them for a few minutes.
This week we get upclose and personal with Black Sensation. She shares her musical backgrounds, new project, her love for God and so much more.

Fresh: What do your friends call you?
Black Sensation: My friends call me Blizzy or Tati

Fresh: Where did you grow up, and what’s a fond memory from there?

Black Sensation:I grew up in Windhoek, my favorite memory would be when my parents hosted this one party and my uncle sat
me by a piano and played me a song sailor men sang to their wives before they left for work at sea called brown skin girls not sure who the artist was.

Fresh: When’s your special day?

Black Sensation: I’m an Aquarius born on the 18 February

Fresh: How would you describe what you do in a tweet?

Black Sensation: I craft emotional journeys through music, turning life’s highs and lows into songs that hit different. My voice tells stories of love, betrayal, and everything between—giving listeners that feeling they can’t find any anywhere else. I don’t just make tracks, I create experiences you feel in your soul.

Fresh: What’s your creative process like, is it structured or chaotic?

Black Sensation: As of late my creative process is more of a chaotic creative process. I find myself only writing when I feel inspired by a certain emotion and it consists of me being in studio, hearing the beats then somehow figuring out my flow and how it makes me feel and then jogging down my ideas to create my masterpiece like an unconventional painter ready to express myself in the art.

Fresh: If your life were a genre of movie, what would it be?
Black Sensation: I think I’ll say it would be like a psychological thriller its filled with the most interesting story lines, plot twists and characters it makes people question what is to pop up next and after all the gruesomeness ends in a positive note and sometimes you learn a valuable lesson you can’t ever forget it’s both beautiful and scary and it describes my life perfectly with both speed bumps and a little bit of excitement something that keeps you on your toes at all point.

Fresh: If you could relive one day of your career exactly as it was, which day would it be?

Black Sensation: I would relive the day my song aired on Trace Africa to receive so much love and appreciation from my friends and family and many of my sensei’s literally had people sending me clips of my music video from their screens in their houses 🥹♥️my parents were so proud and up until today I can hear the cheers of everyone’s voices I can see their glossy little eyes in my head and feel the warmth from they’re all so happy faces it was just something that made me feel like I should continue creating.

Fresh: What sparked your passion for your career? Any unexpected twists?

Black Sensation: What sparked my passion was honestly hearing my mom sing around the house growing up. She never pursued music professionally, but her voice was magic to me. That seed grew when I started writing poems to process feelings I couldn’t say out loud. The unexpected twist? Meeting N-Trigue, the CEO of Radio Ready Entertainment based out of Atlanta, GA wasn’t something I had planned. My manager and best friend. Ivy League believed in me so much she convinced him to come chill at the studio one day. Talk about pressure! I decided to just be myself and create in the moment, which led to making “Leprechaun” right there with him watching the whole process. I was just in my zone, not trying to impress anyone, but being authentic to my sound. N-Trigue was so impressed he wanted to sign me immediately to Radio Ready Entertainment. One minute I’m just creating music I love, the next I’m signing a contract with one of the most visionary executives in the industry. Shows you never know who’s watching when you’re just doing what you love.

Fresh: Any achievements or projects you’re super proud of?

Black Sensation: Seeing both “Clueless” and “Plans For The Night” music videos surpass 20K views was definitely a moment where I had to take a step back and just be grateful. But when “Plans For The Night” got picked up by MTV, Trace Africa, and Channel O networks? That was surreal. Watching something I created play on the same channels I grew up dreaming about being on—that hit different.

Fresh: What book, movie, or piece of art changed your life?

Black Sensation: That would have to be the Bible and I think it’s self explanatory it’s the book of life and it’s my shield against the world’s cruelty.

Fresh: When you’re not working, what are you up to? Any hobbies or secret talents?

Black Sensation: I love to have fun with my friends, try new things, I’m definitely into content creating and editing, I’m such a nomad so I’m definitely into traveling can’t stay in one place I gotta explore and experience the world and I have a thing for reading and spend my days at church as well.

Fresh: Which song is on repeat for you right now?

Black Sensation: Pluto & Ykniece – Whim Whamiee

Fresh: If you weren’t in the entertainment industry, what would you be doing?

Black Sensation: I don’t think there was an option whatever I chose led back to something within the industry but just more on the media aspects anyone that knows me would tell you I’ve always been in the creative industry whether I edited cool reels to entertain those on the socials, made vlogs or drew perhaps danced back in the day, you name it I think I would have probably been a director creating movies or something or maybe a journalist but for a famous magazine.

Fresh: What motivates you to keep going on tough days?

Black Sensation: God motivates me everyday to keep pushing I might see surface level but he knows what comes next and so long as he keeps creating and paving the ways there’s always a will or a way so I should just keep swimming like dory from finding Nemo says.

Fresh: What shows or movies are you currently binge-watching?

Black Sensation:I’m currently a supernatural drama called Evil (2019).

Fresh: What’s something you enjoy that might surprise people?

Black Sensation: I love listening to Natasha Bedingfield and I’m into Greek mythology and conspiracy theories about the world and how we got here.

Fresh: Do you ever re-watch your own performances? If so, which one and why?

Black Sensation: No I don’t ever rewatch or look back at my own performances at least not by choice someone might happen to watch it and I happen to be in the same building it’s a bit cringy to me, I don’t like looking at myself because Black Sensation and Tatiyana are two very different people I believe what’s done is done and what’s new is beyond so why look on to the past to create a method for what’s next we keep it pushing both good or bad.

Fresh: Which artist or album changed how you think about music?

Black Sensation: I think that would be Melanie Martinez or XXXTentacion I absolutely love and remember every other one of their songs from various albums and I believe I loved how it made me think feel and also showcased how music was so much more than my mind can fathom.

Fresh: If you could work with any artist or personality, who would it be?

Black Sensation: Doja Cat, Coi Leray, Nicki Minaj or Kyle Richh & SSG Kobe

Fresh: What’s a misconception people have about your job?

Black Sensation: That it’s all about drinking and smoking or sitting around in some studio re-listening to the same track they’re expecting it to be a party or something because all you do is get on stage and perform but it’s so much more it takes dedication, long hours, practice, getting both the words and the moves and doing it on repeat with the same energy at different times because the bigger you are the lack of time you have you might finish 10 pm in Namibia then you have to climb on a plane and redo it because your needed in Paris around 3 am it’s definitely not for the weak.

Fresh: What’s your dream holiday destination?

Black Sensation: Currently that would have to be Norway only because I’m fascinated with the fact that the sun never sets over there besides I love snow and it looks like something out of the movies or Seoul only because I get to live out my fantasy over there I always said if I go I might not comeback figuratively of course.

Fresh: Do you have a personal mantra or quote you live by?

Black Sensation: When God is the boss fear has no voice and Mark chapter 10:12.

Fresh: What’s one stage/city/place/festival you would love to perform at one day?

Black Sensation: I would love to perform at the Mix Festival Goiânia in Brazil or Coachella, Rolling loud and the Grammy’s right after I collect my trophy of course. I love the set ups and how grand it is but also how they make your songs come to life on stage making it an extraordinary experience.

Fresh: Any events, releases, or projects on the horizon we should know about?

Black Sensation: New music coming soon give it a month or so and I’ll be performing a big show some time around June we’re also working on getting on a major tour in the states so stay tuned.

Fresh: Is there a fun fact or story you’d love our listeners to know?

Black Sensation: I’m a peoples person for the people by the people I just love spreading joy and good vibes not looking to hate but elevate and use my talents and passions to create a path or bridge for more talented Namibians looking to tap into the American base it’s Tsoba all the way sensitive pretty gangsters worldwide and I love y’all.
