Background

There’s a new kind of freshness taking over your Fridays — and it’s served with a Jameson. Fresh FM has officially partnered with Jameson Irish Whiskey to bring Namibians an experience that blends smooth music, smooth vibes, and smooth serves — through two unique platforms: Fresh Fridays and The Fresh Hitlist.

The Fresh Hitlist — Triple Distilled, Twice as Smooth

Fridays on Fresh FM just got even better with The Fresh Hitlist, your weekly countdown of the hottest local and African songs. From 7 PM to 9 PM, listeners can tune in to catch the ultimate music experience — a showcase of sound that defines what’s fresh, vibrant, and undeniably Namibian.

For those who prefer to watch the action unfold, The Fresh Hitlist also airs on One Africa TV at 8 PM every Friday. It’s a perfect blend of radio and television, giving fans across the country a front-row seat to the freshest tracks and artists making waves right now.

Just like Jameson, The Fresh Hitlist is triple distilled, twice as smooth, and carries that same great taste every week. Whether it’s your favourite Namibian hit or a continental chart-topper, this is where music meets sophistication — and Fridays find their true rhythm.

Fresh Fridays, From the Studio to the Streets

Taking things up a notch, Fresh Fridays brings the energy of Fresh FM’s airwaves to the city’s Favorite hangout spots. Every last Friday of the month, the Fresh crew steps outside for a live experience featuring the station’s vibrant personalities, good company, and even better music.

The first Fresh Friday’s event debuted at Chelsea’s Food Court setting the tone for what was a celebration of music, culture, and connection with a top tier set from a household name, DJ Chinchilla.

And because no smooth vibe is complete without a Jameson, fans can enjoyed  Jameson Perfect Serve’s and won  fresh looks, courtesy of Tate Kulu’s Barber Shop.

A Partnership that Celebrates Connection

The collaboration between Fresh FM and Jameson is more than a sponsorship, it’s a partnership built on shared values of authenticity, connection, and creativity. Both brands understand the power of bringing people together, through conversation, through music, through community.

Jameson’s smooth legacy and Fresh FM’s vibrant energy create the perfect mix. It’s a meeting of taste and tempo, where the smoothness of the whiskey complements the rhythm of the city’s heartbeat.

Here’s to Fresh Experiences

With The Fresh Hitlist soundtracking your Friday evenings and Fresh Fridays bringing the party to your neighbourhood, one thing’s for sure, your weekends just got a whole lot fresher.

So, whether you’re tuning in, stepping out, or raising a glass, do it the Jameson way, with style, smoothness, and good company.

Tune in every Friday from 7 PM on Fresh FM and catch The Fresh Hitlist at 8 PM on One Africa TV.
Join us for Fresh Fridays every last Friday of the month, because Fridays aren’t just the end of the week — they’re a celebration of what’s fresh, smooth, and full of flavor.
