The Construction Industries Federation of Namibia (CIF), in partnership with various stakeholders, has announced that it will host the Infrastructure Development Forum in Lüderitz from 14 to 16 October 2025.
The three-day event, which will be held at the Old Power Station Conference Centre, aims to bring together industry leaders, policymakers, investors, and community representatives to discuss Namibia’s infrastructure challenges and opportunities.
CIF Chief Executive Officer, Bärbel Kirchner, said the forum will highlight the critical role of infrastructure in stimulating economic growth, creating jobs, and strengthening Namibia’s competitiveness in the region.
The forum’s agenda will cover a wide range of topics, including transportation, energy, housing, water supply, port development, and digital infrastructure. Key sessions will also explore the role of public-private partnerships (PPPs), policy reforms, and investment strategies to accelerate infrastructure delivery.
