Windhoek Launches International Fire Safety Week

The City of Windhoek has launched International Fire Safety Week under the theme “Unite to Ignite for a Secure Nation.” Mayor Ndeshihafela Larandja noted that the Fire Brigade has responded to over 2,000 fire incidents this year, nearly 1,500 of them in informal settlements.
