Sports deputy minister Dino Ballotti says they have allocated N$200 million from this year’s budget for sports infrastructure development and hosting local sports leagues.

This will allow the country to host regional and international football matches following the Confederation of African Football (CAF) ban in 2021 due to local stadiums failing to meet international standards.
