The Simply You Magazine Lifestyle and Fashion Awards: Part 1

The Simply You Magazine Lifestyle and Fashion Awards brings Namibian talent to the red carpet. 

This spectacular event recognises local creativity in the fields of television, radio, fashion, beauty, fitness, blogging and photography. The theme for 17 September 2022 was avant-garde; attendees were invited to defy trends with their clothing, dressing to the nines in only their most innovative and bold outfits. They did not disappoint! 

Fresh FM’s Jane K. was on-site to chat to these Namibian creatives as they arrived. She posed interesting questions such as: ‘What does Ubuntu mean to you?’ and ‘If you had 30 seconds, what would you like to tell your nation, Namibia?’. 

First up to be interviewed was Albert Moses, nominee for Male Model of the Year 2022.

• Makeup Artist of the Year 2022 – Katy Kaune 
• Male Model of the Year 2022 – Uzziah Mukena  
• Female Model of the Year 2022 – Aina Kweyo 
• Fitness Personality of the Year 2022 – Auguste Uutoni   
• Blogger of the Year 2022 – The Traveler Queen 
• DJ of the Year 2022 – DJ Shoza & Dj Alba 
• Photographer of the Year 2022 – Ino Photography
