Anti-Corruption Commission Arrests Two Over 792k Fraud

The Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested Liam Mbako, a Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform Hydrologist Technician, and Godfried Uiseb, owner of MacGodmen Trading CC, for allegedly defrauding the Ministry with a Water Sampling Trailer that was never delivered, involving N$387,397 in payments. The two are suspected of misappropriating a total of N$792,257 in public funds. They appeared in Windhoek Magistrate’s Court yesterday, were granted N$10,000 bail each, and the case was postponed to 26 January 2026.
