
Two men, aged 31 and 32, were arrested in connection with a robbery involving a tourist at a guest house in Klein Windhoek on Friday evening.
According to the Namibian Police, the tourist had just returned to the guest house from a fish market when a black Mazda Demio approached, and two men wearing masks jumped out.
The suspects allegedly followed the tourist inside, attacked them with a knife, and cut off his bag, causing the victim to fall and sustain injuries to the right elbow.
The robbers fled the scene with the victim’s handbag containing a German passport, identity card, purse with €30, N$700 cash, a MasterCard, health insurance card, sunglasses, and a Samsung mobile phone, valued at approximately N$4 000.
