Police in Windhoek are investigating a suspected murder after the body of a 32-year-old man was found in a pool of blood in Karasburg Street, Havana, early Sunday morning.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 06:30 on Sunday, 4 October 2025. A passerby discovered the body and alerted authorities.
The victim, identified as Matheus Stefanis, a 32 Namibian male, sustained deep cut wounds to his left arm, upper lip, and left upper ribs.
A pair of sandals, believed to belong to the deceased, was found nearby in the street.
No arrests have been made, and the suspect or suspects remain unknown.
The victim’s next of kin have been informed, and police investigations continue.
