No room for criminal activities in Oshana

The Oshana Regional Commander, Commissioner Naftal Sakaria region said that there will be no room for criminals in the Oshana region.

Sakaria said this while launching Operation New Era today in Oshakati.

Operation New Era is aimed to combat crime during this Easter Weekend, and will go until Tuesday.

Sakaria said criminals needs to be warned as there are no rooms for criminal activities in the region.

He said police officers will be deployed to different places , in order to make sure that

Sakaria added that most accident are caused by drunk drivers as they have reported over 50 cases of drinking and driving cases.

” This is not a banana country, and can not allow people to smuggle goods in the country, while there are shops that pay Value Added Tax”, Sakaria.

Commissioner further urged the community to work closely with the police in order to maintain law and order.
